How it looks in the bottle in real life is true to the first picture. But just like how you shouldn't judge a lipstick by its bullet, you shouldn't judge a nail color by how it looks in the bottle!
How it looks like on my nails.:) From left, Golden Rose 219, The Face Shop Pk107, Winmax New York no. 11. On my pinky finger (last) is just a transparent top coat.
I'm starting off with my favorite. The one from Winmax is a gorgeous peachy-y pink color when applied to the nails, and I absolutely love this color. It has a very smooth finish and is a breeze to apply. It is not very creamy or pigmented, so you'll need at least 3 coats for this. But for the price of only SGD$2 and the lovely color, I'd say this is a steal! :)
The nail polish from TheFaceShop is the most creamy and pigmented of the 3. In comparison, its formulation is slightly thicker and you could probably get away with only 1 coat. You can see how creamy it is in the photo of the swatches. At the same time, its creamy consistency is also a downside because it means that the polish in the bottle would thicken quicker than other more fluid nail polishes. Regardless, this is just a very basic sweet baby pink color, and its really good for using as a base for a typical French manicure. This is my second favorite and I love it especially since its just SGD$2.90!
The nail polish from Golden Rose didn't really live up to my expectations especially in terms of its finish; it doesn't dry as smoothly as I would have liked. But nonetheless, it is still a pretty light pink color. I'd say its great for showing off a tan too; its a pastel color but its slightly brighter than your typical pastel polish. Its got a very slight shimmer in it, but its so subtle that I only noticed it the second time I was using this polish, and I don't think its even noticeable in the swatches! You would probably need 2 coats for this nail polish. It costs only about SGD$2.50 I think; I bought it when it was on sale. I'm totally loving the bottle!
